What are these on my Milonia bluntii?

Ok so I promised myself that I would buy more orchids if i can get my current ones to spike so now that I see 2 potential spikes on my Dendrobium and Cymbidium I have a reason to buy more.. so I got a Miltonia today upson closer examination I found these what look like carvings on the p.bulb and the other pic is almost like new growth that has turned upside down should I take it back to the shop? Or is it nothing to worry about? I have examined for pests but doesn't seem to be any will keep my eyes peeled though. It seem to only appear on 2 p.bulbs but other than that the plant looks healthy.

Looks like hard scale damage, perhaps a slug/snail/ That pseudobulb turned around is just shyness!jejejeje. No, orchids sometimes do that. Scales sometimes hide under the bracts, take a look.

If you can't see them, they may be thrips.

I also think the pseudobulb damage is from a snail or a slug or any plant munching insect. Snails can hide inside the bots in the bottom.

Snails can sure do lots of damage. Hope you are able to remove them.

Snails or slugs would be attracted to a saucer of beer and drown themselves. Some other chewing pests that may hide in the medium might too. Just make sure the edge of the saucer is against the edge of the pot so they have easy access.

Oh... and Miltonia Bluntii is a hybrid, so capital B would be correct.
