Lovely, Peter! Is this plant blooming at a young age or is it a smallish grower?

Beautiful shots, especially the 2nd one, of a fabulous phal! I've been looking for one with fragrance and having some difficulty finding it - but I will go on a hunt for this one!

    Hi Pavel,

I had bought my 2 plants a four years ago in a German nursery, they were imported plants. Since then they flowered every (European) spring. Phal. modesta is one of the smaller Phalaenopsis species. The leaves about 18cm long, the flower about 3cm diameter. Each plant wears 7 flowers this time. Yesterday I had put pollina from one to the stigma on the other plant. So, if I am lucky, perhaps in some years, there will be some more young modestas.

    Peter
