    I will not be taking much part in the forums for a bit ; I had an emergency operation on one eye on Friday ( torn/detached retina repair) and if it was successful I should recover my sight in about 6 weeks - more or less. Until then I have just one usable eye and a rather prescribed life ( I have to put 3 different kinds of drops in the eye 4 times a day, spend 45 minutes in every hour lying on one side - but this is only for the first week), can't drive, must not fly - no excitement... fortunately they didn't give me any instructions about my orchids but anything more than a daily spray is on hold for the time being....
    I never did get to see the display at Wisley, but I will get a report when someone brings the orchids back home.
    I look forward to a fuller involvement with the forums as soon as possible - maybe I'll be able to chip in with the odd comment in the meantime.

    Geoff, I hope you get over this quickly. Anything to do with the eye is scary. I don't know if you are having pain? I hope not. I've had an ulcerated cornea from contacts and that was probably the worst that ever happened to me. I hope someone can come over and help you out in the greenhouse. Let us know how you are doing from time to time. Get well soon.

    Sorry about your surgery, hope you recover soon! I guess you had laser treatment. Orchids are a great therapy but try not to bump your head. Take car friend!
