Mega buds on my phal orchid!

Last year I resisted the urge to attempt an encore bloom by cutting the spike above a node. Now after 9-10 months we have a new spike. For those who have followed my previous posts and saw how I mistook a root for a second spike I have got one monster spike on the go now!

There are about 20 buds on here! Look:






And the roots are the best they've ever been!

Congratulations Mike !! That looks very nice and a very healthy plant. I always like to cut back the whole spike and encourage a new one rather than letting an offshoot develop from the old spike and you see the results are always better.
