It should love a West window with a fan on it, as long it doesn't get too hot. I'm sure it'll do great! Did you check its root system when you got it? Always rule number one. Unfortunately I'm not very well versed on Miltonias, unless you mean Miltoniopsis (the two are completely different but are often mistaken for one another). Do you know if it's an actual Miltonia? They're a little more rare...
