    Roy, thanks for your comment.
    Cat. nobilior is bifoliated (this is the norm but there are exceptions), this plant is not. And maybe the white area on the lip is too small and the stripes not enough drawn ?
    I'll ask to my friend Vitorino who found this plant for me in Brazil.

    Definitely Cattleya walkeriana!

    1) C. nobilior is bifoliated.
    2) The column and the tube on C. walkeriana is directed downward. C. nobilior's tube and column is directed more to the front.

    Thanks for that insight on the possibility of it being to hot here in FL for walkeriana to bloom well, Jeff. I never considered that.
