Hello people ! See what Eric and Natt made me do LOL ! After seeing their gorgeous summer blooming Cattleya orchids, off I went and bought myself something to soothe me hehe. A gorgeous Cattleya warneri, already blooming with 3 beautiful flowers. Today I finally received it and imagine my surprise the flowers were battered but intact. I am so happy. The clone is really beautiful and very fragrant. Herrenhauser Garten is a garden located in Hannover in Northern Germany which has amazing orchid collection and a modest display conservatory. May be this clone was awarded there or bred there. Here are two pictures I made with my iPhone cam.
