    Thanks for the better pictures and the info, Jane. I love the bloom so I will continue the wait for mine to spike.
    I hope your grandson is ok. The growth plate is what I'm sure they are worried about. Please keep us updated as to how he is.

    In my literature it said that it needs high humidity and cool to moderate temperatures and careful waterings. Roots should be wet but not soggy. Reduce watering in winter to allow a dormant period. I do not have one myself. Good luck, hope it is blooming soon for you.
