That bottom photo is just beautiful. Is your greenhouse partially underground, or is that how deep your snow is? What a great idea for insulating the growing environment!![]()

Wow! I agree with Jenn., that bottom photo of the greenhouse at night is absolutely beautiful. And the inside looks very inviting as well. Thanks for sharing the pictures, can't wait to see the one of the entire space.

Amazing!!! and what a contrast... from the fullness of the northern snows to the deepest tropical jungle!

It was worth the wait! Gorgeous; makes you feel like you are in a cloud forest. So I'm wondering the same thing Jenn asked...is this a sun-pit style greenhouse (partially underground)?

Wow very nice. Makes you want to buy more orchids!
Hi everybody!
Yes the GH is partial underground. Its the old pool I have used. I'ts very good to use the ground isolation when you have the climate as Sweden.
The roof is made of tripple isolation glass. During the winter (5 month)the need for artificial light is crucial. I have 1600 W of metalhalide and even that is not enough.![]()

Now THAT is what I call a green house!!! Man o Man, wish I could walk through that. That pic right there is almost good enough to give me my nature fix and cure my Cabin Fever.Originally Posted by mitcholito
