So lovely. I know my point and shoot tends to overcompensate when what I'm shooting is one color filling the picture. Either way, I just make adjustments on the computer to make the color more accurate. My 2 cents. Absolutely beautiful Vanda, and what a great spike for such a relatively small plant! Good growing!

You know about Guineas ? I thought I was the last one left !
When I started work in the firm where I spent the last 40 years of my working life, they sent the bill out to clients, once every three months - in guineas.
The old basis in law firms was charge in guineas , the lawyers take the pounds, and the clerks take the shillings ( one shilling was one twentieth of a pound sterling - and one guinea was one and one twentieth pounds).
When I became a partner in the firm, I scrapped all that,. and sent out the bills with the work, and in pounds sterling. The old senior partners wept into their beer saying I would ruin the firm , but I found the clients actually liked it.

Gorgeous! I recently bought one of these, but it hasn't reached it's first blooming just yet. I assume they bloom on rather small plants?

It is indeed, almost impossible to photograph 'blue' vandas. Your plant is absolutely beautiful no matter what the actual color is. Good growing.

It is stunning Yew . The color is very vibrant and intense at the same time. It's a gorgeous bloom , wish I could see it in person to see what you see that makes it even more special .
