Both are pretty orchids. In future, you should place each orchid in its own thread so that in the future you can find it if you do a search by name.
cheers,

thanks for the tip I'll remember that.
Both the orchids are very beautiful, with rich vibrant colour. The vanda especially intrigued me a lot as V Emma van Deventer is one of the parents of V Nellie Morley which together with V Tan Chay Yan IMO are the two semi-teretes by which all other semi-teretes are judged. As this is the first time I have ever seen the 'Flamingo' variety of Emma van Deventer I did a search for Emma v Deventer on Google and could find only one picture of the 'normal' (at least the ones I've personally seen) EVD in the Longwood Gardens list; and the 'Flamingo' var in the catalogue of a reputable US nursery. The 'Flamingo' var reminds me very much of V B P Mok. It really is very difficult to find pictures of JVB, EVD and BP Mok as they come under the category of 'Vintage Orchids'. I'll have to visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens the next time I go to Singapore to look up these vintage vandas and hopefully to take pictures of them.
Thanks Stateless for sharing.

nice blooms but whats the blooms at the right of the catt....on those longggg flower spikes???
perfect red cat
Great blooms, congratulations.
The vanda is pretty but I loooooove the catt , nice growing .
I lost the tag to the one with the long spikes, but if memory serves me right it is Juno Beach Garnet Glory a cattt schomberg cross, which went crazy this year 8 flower spikes, some over 3 feet long. It is hard to get a photo of the whole plant and spikes, and they are kinda beat from all the rain.
Ed....a big WOW on the vanda!! I love it. The Catt is pretty as well, but the vanda is a knock-out!
