I have only seen one bougainvillea bonsai before and it was spectacular, and true feast for the eyes. That plant had to be 60 or 70 years old and the blooms were so colorful. Really the plant was gorgeous. My bonsai trees are, in a word, growing. When I whip one into shape, it soon has grown all bushy again. I have a Brazilian Raintree on one end that is threatening to overgrown all the rest and needs sone work done to it badly.
I have located a Master here in Atlanta who is willing to mentor me and hopefully Maura as she no has two tropicals. He is very well known both here and around the country and I am honored that he will work with me. Perhaps I shall post some pictures after he has had an opportunity to guide me a bit.
I do have a few new orchids that are not in bloom and I may try to get some photo's to post of these. They are mounted mini species and really quite interesting.
See you later,
Phillip
