They like it hot?? Well as I love the dendrobuims I may have to find one. Does it need a dry winter? I need to tag my "dry winter" plants and put them all in a bright corner together so I don't mess up and water the darn things. I have an aggregatum that is getting larger every day, but doesn't bloom for love or money! I'm told it's because I keep watering it in the winter. I'd love to be able to grow this beauty. It's so bright yellow and sunny...that would look amazing out back.
Connie, it need a dry winter. Check the wheather condition in e.g. South China. From November until April, dry season and not so hot. The same for Dendr. aggregatum
Very pretty sulcatum, Mietek. Is it blooming now? Ours bbloomed about 4-5 months ago.
Yew, I'm also surprised. I've saw flowering sulcatum in February, in Vietnam. This is from south Thailand.
What a pretty dendrobium orchid.
cheers,
