I would not cut any keikis. I would spare them to be able to grow a large spectacular plant instead!
For care I have had severe problems myself with P. schilleriana, I have tried high humidity, high and low light in my growing cabinet that almost killed it.
I know grow it in bark with some spagnum moss for water retention. I have it on my windowsill in south west direction. It recieves direct sun during the afternoon BUT I have a three layered modern energy saving window that filter the light. I have the window slightly open 24 hours during the swedish summer. For temperature I have 15-18 C at night and 22-30 C during the day and the relative humidity is around 50-85 depending of how much rain we get.
My result during these conditions is two new healthy looking leaves within 4 month!
