I flowered this plant 2 years ago, 1st time from a seedling. This flower is near twice the size & the spur twice as long. Only one flower again which is annoying.

Beautiful! How many years does one of these take to bloom? My seedling is growing well and much larger than it was two years ago but....

leafmite, my estimate in my experience/conditions, 10 years to bloom a seedling from flask. It will very with growing conditions. My advise, don't hang by the thumbs waiting.

To answer a question elsewhere about this plant, I just checked the pot size & flower size.
The pot is a 200mm pot (8inch), the flower measures 190mm across the lower sepals.
