These Vanda tricolor's are a favorite of mine Zain. As Roy pointed out the colors on these blooms are especially pleasing. Love that rather demure yellow background on the petals. AL

Very nice! I am waiting for mine to bloom. How do you grow yours, and what are your temps throughout the year?

Hi Gage most of the plants I grow them in the basket, for your information the temperature here in Malaysia at night usually 24 degree Celsius hardly drop less than this however daytime between 32 to 37 degree Celsius.
Since the tricolor is very huge plant especially from Irian Jaya I have to put them in a big clay pot as on the first photo.
Some of them I attached to the tree bark and the last 2 photos in the black basket see how the plants here are very heavy each plant almost nearly more than a kilo.

very nice , photos are great also, especially like the third one. In the fourth photo is that looks like coconut fiber in the basket?

Your eyes like an eagle very sharp just to provide some moisture in between watering.

Nice growing! What a beautiful flower! I have had my plant for a couple years now and I hope it will get big enough to bloom soon, unfortunately though, i'm guessing it will take a couple more years.

Just put finger cross remember some of them even small plant already through away the spike, plz give enough light at least more than 60 %,those from Irian the plant need at least more than afoot begin to produce a spike however those from Java Island small plant can see their flower waving left and right.
