Nice plant and an interesting cultivation system.
Do you think the transparent pot helps to keep the plant in good health?
What is your experience with other non transparent pots?

my potting mix is a hydroton or leca clay and i use semi-hydroponic method which you can't see 2 hold on the side of the pot.the reason that i use this method because i'm the over watering person.i almost kill all of my catts last year that everybody here remember very well so for now some of my orchids are in S/H and some are in mounting ..

thank you for the info. something new for me!! have not see it at a local garden supply store. because of busy weekdays at work and no time to water, i water my orchids during the weekend. i think down at south cal is different because it is warmer compare to north cal, watering must be done 2x a week. it might not work for my orchids because it is cooler up here.
