    Cool Sophronitis cernua

One of my tiny species has bloomed. It is very colorful out back and getting moreso every day! I will include a couple no name dendrobiums in bloom, the pink and white is another baby dendrobium given to me by Rich. All but one of his baby dens is blooming this year.

I believe the Sophronitis has been placed back into the Cattleya, but I kept the name on the tag for this post...

Hahaha...you hang in there "cowboy"...lol. When you get too many of the long spiked variety you'll be looking for a few mini's to put in between. I adore the huge spiked plants which is why I own so many encyclia and schomb's...i've never been a girly girl anyways, unless it's pink or purple. lol Then i'll fight you for it... But lately the little flowers that bloom and bloom are gaining in favor around here. The greenhouse is filling up too fast...

It's a pretty little thing! And I am certainly with you regarding miniatures being more and more desirable! My partner uses lack of space to justify his "we have enough" standpoint...Me- "oooo! I think I found something perfect for us! Look at this little thing!"

See, now that's what I keep telling my other half. He says we have too much of everything...until we get a compliment on it. lol Once the greenhouse went up mine quit complaining about the orchid habit. Now he complains about stuff indoors...I got him a tshirt that says he's a member of the Piss and Moan club (even though I know he's the president!).
