thanks, but we should really thank the guys who make this place available to us.... BD and LJA
New little plant on the way! Thank you so much. And speaking of the blizzard, here are some pictures from the Philadelphia area of the snow that fell here. I'd say we probably got about a foot of snow. For me, growing up in North Carolina, that's a WHOLE LOT!
This is the view looking out the patio door of my apartment.
There is a small lake separating the two sections of my apartment community. Very popular place for migrating Canadian geese.
And two more:
Two cardinals sitting in one of the trees outside my apartment.
And a random nature shot.
Gorgeous photos!
If I had my camera with me, I'd have snapped some shots of the Charleston, SC airport Sunday morning (from whence I was supposed to return home); the same again at 5 a.m. this morning when I checked in for my 'adjusted' flight; the Dulles airport where I enjoyed a 3 hour layover (but there was a cool family of sparrows that lived in the air ducts by the departure gate that were fun to watch; from the inside of the plane as we sat on the tarmac with mechanical delays for over an hour; and of Logan airport on arrival (here in Boston) which looked more like a refugee bivouac choked with stranded travelers and with over 1,000 pieces of lost luggage.
I think your blizzard was more fun than mine, Ptaszek!
phew...it's good to be home!

Oh, Diane thank you, but it is members here like you who make the difference. Bless you for the wonderful gift you bring to us just by being here and spending time with all of us.Originally Posted by Diane

I'm a transplant as well, I grew up in Sperryville, VA. If we got 2 inches, they cancelled schools!! Here in NH, we get blitzed, everybody goes shopping! Unfortunatly, my digital camera is dead, otherwise, I would have shot pictures of the three foot snow drifts on my front porch...stupid wind now back to women's curling...even though I know they already lost to japanOriginally Posted by Diane

Bellina just arrived!!!
It looks great, traveled very well. Diane, was this plant growing on its side? or standing up? Also, if you could give me the specific regimen this plant was used to, I think that would help keep it happy.
Thanks again!
