So modest and pretty. I like it a lot.
nice soft pink. maybe a dialaelia or something like that?
Thanks Jasonyou jogged my memory . I will search for it tonight . Gin
Ok...here's my two cents ...which is probabely all it's worth...
Guarianthe (Gur.) guatemalensis is lavender, has a flaring lip with no floof identical to yours, and the color and markings in its throat are very similar. Gur. aurantiaca is a dark orange, but has the same petal and sepal form as your NOID. So, taking a SWAG, I'd consider a cross like Gur. guatemalensis x Gur. aurantiaca, which to the best of my knowledge isn't registered.
I wish I could post the photos. Sorry!
Julie
More food for thought , here is my aurantiaca the shape is a lot like it . Thanks![]()
The guatemalensis lip is what sold me. Same shape, similar coloration and markings. The flower form is a little different, which is why I suspected a cross.

The lip reminds me a bit of some Richard Mueller crosses. Can't remember which one though.
The spotting on the lip is reminescent of Richard Mueller, but RM's and RM crosses have some floof around the edges of the lip. Total lack of floof suggests something else.

Was at the MSU orchid show in MI this past weekend & saw a representative that the plant yours had brought to mind, Gin [just couldn't remember it] ... one of the Gerberara
http://www.montclairorchids.com/images/full/catt_0030.jpg
& since Gerberara Snow Ballet, at least, is a Richard Mueller cross -- (Dial. Snowflake x Bl. Richard Mueller) -- perhaps I wasn't totally off earlier. So whaddaya think Gin, might your mystery plant be a Gerberara?
