Macroclinium manabinum
Okay...you are killing me! lol I want this one too... Hello my name is Connie and i'm an orchid addict! lol Geesh...I love your collection!
Love the presentation of the beautiful blooms.
Great shots of a lovely orchid.
That is cool looking. Any culture info Branka?
Wow I like it so nice.
Nicki, this is a miniature sized but very attractive - the flowers are like a mini-firework and last very long time. It is warm to hot growing epiphyte: I grow it in quite warm (20-25 °C), in a humid environment (60-80% RH), with a (almost) daily watering (they need to dry out).
Just don't cut of the flower spikes after the flowering is done: it can flowers continuously a few month from the same spike.
Fireworks is exactly what I thought too! Miniature is just my sizeThis is going on my wishlist. Down the road it's a cute, little unique orchid I'd like to see in my collection.
Very nice, Branka.
For those interested, this is a true mini -- perhaps what some would refer to as a mini-mini. Mature vegetative growths are typically only about 2 inches (approx. 5cm) or less from a fan's base to the end of the longest leaf tip.
It's a beauty, Branka!
