    The lip is a bright lavender against a bright orange and red flower, but the picture of this hybrid on the vendors web-site shows a washed out looking lavender on the lip. I may have gotten lucky. Maybe the one I got just happened to have brighter colors than some of the others. In any case I think it's a keeper.

    Yeah, I actually found the vendor after I read your post, and I was not nearly as impressed by their picture as I am by yours. Their flower is merely "pretty" while yours is in "stunning" territory. I wonder if you would be able to get it awarded. I don't know much about what judges look for, but that bright lavender against the bright orange and red is breathtaking!

    I was considering getting one, but the price is a bit steep...and with my luck I'd end up with one that looks like the vendor's, not yours! LOL Enjoy that phal, and, you know, if you ever get tired of it and want to send it to a good home, my doors are open...
