Hi all,
I joined this forum on the suggestion of my mom, Carolla.
I have an oncidium or oncidium hybrid called Shelob that did extremely well for me last year and flowered in June/July. It has two 'branches' which both spiked and both began to produce new psuedobulbs. Then at some point I realized that the psuedobulbs had basically quit growing - my guess given my habits is that I underwatered at a time when it needed more. They haven't noticeably changed in a few months although I think the smaller one is still producing new roots. I repotted it at the end of january and the roots seemed fairly decent at the time (plump and cream to brown colored with no sliminess or noticeable decay), still has not changed much, I'm not sure I should have repotted it.
Anyway I noticed this week some off colors on the older bulbs.
I was wondering if this was just age or a sign of a problem. I previously lost a wildcat oncidium after a long and drawn out process to some kind of brown rot so I am kind of paranoid!
Thanks for any advice.
