Shriveled pseudo bulbs indicate under watering or damaged roots. Since your roots are ok I would suspect the former. How are you watering? Take the plant to the sink and water copiously. Allow the plant to approach dryness before watering again. It is natural for some old pseudo bulbs to turn brown and die--but not many at once. This also could be indicative of under watering.
