(the second is actually the one i bought for our dear phillip, after leaving it at the temple for an appropriate amount of time... along with some fruit and bits and bobs one might want in the hereafter... i took it back home... it hasnt stopped blooming for one second and has another spike up with 4 more buds on it... for maura)

Just happened to see this thread, Shane. You dear thing! You've made my day!!!! Those laelias look like Richard Mueller hybrids and are very fine indeed! I shall have to designate one of my orchids in your (and Jeffrey's? Is that him in the background?) honor. I've been promising myself to capture some of the really pretty ones I have in bloom right now - my lanai is overflowing, although, since I've been staying with my parents, they are rather orderly!
