I love Renantheras. Lovely blooms.

Just beautiful Ron. I love the colours!![]()

i heard they cud be found in mangroves habitat....u see that humidity is close to if not 100%...i think thats why in cultivation the blasted things lose most of their lower leaves and look like some scrawny mimi palm tree grrrrrrr
very nice bro!
Lordy, that's a long stem! Nice flowers.
I've been looking for a nice one for a couple years. I may have to give up and buy a small one. Those red flowers are eye popping pretty!
I haven't heard or seen those growing in Mangroves, here they grow high up on trees to very impressive sizes. However, most flowering plants i saw in the gardens produce larger spikes, a true sun lover!
@Connie,
go and get one, takes only 2-3 years for a flowering specimen, after that unstoppable!
a beautiful plant, nice photo. Thank you.
Peter
Ron, are your renantheras mounted or are they in pots?... I have a couple which came in pots, but I decided to mount them, because they don't seem to dry well in between waterings.. thought the roots will rot if I keep them in pots with a soil-like medium..
