    Cool Encylaelia Sweet Fantasy 'Utuado'

    This is a new cross and a very colorful one at that! It is a cross between Epilaelia Snow Fantasy and Encyclia alata that i've been growing for a year or two now. Mine has quite alot of yellow whereas normal varieties have a white background. I'm hoping the yellow doesn't fade...

    yellow may intensify with age. Looks nice!! Interesting cross, bet I could guess who made it. Was it Eli?

    Everything you love about Encyclia, but refined. Encyclia amplified. There's a distinctive esthetic to Eli's hybrids that would be pretty obvious even if Utuado wasn't in the name. I wish I had the light and space for these. Thanks for posting.

    No quotes on Utuado by the way, part of the grex, Sweet Fantasy Utuado, not a clonal name.
