Vanda mkra om yai

I went to Green Thumb Festival for a plant and came home with four orchids and other plants. The basket in this vanda contains a green moss. Should I refrain from watering daily? I water my vandas daily, but not sure with this one. Could the roots rot due to this moss if I continue to water everyday?

I think I would transfer it to a more appropriate basket so it wouldn't be a concern. Until then it seems like all those aerial roots need to get splashed every day but I wouldn't soak the basket so often.

In Malaysia we water our Mokaras at least twice a day. Might not be a bad idea to repot it in a bigger container.

Thank you for your replies. When the blooms are gone, I will remove that moss and put into a new basket.
