wow both are great but I love anything with tequilla in it
Both beautiful, especially like the spotting on the lip of the second.

Both are beautiful Connie, I favour the colours and spots of the Hippodamia.
You having shown this jolted me to remembering that I have a plant in my Gh that has the name Hippodamia, I don't recall what the Genus is right now, but it has never bloomed and it is a rather tiny plant, has sent out new growths, but no flowers. Tomorrow I shall have a look and perhaps post a pic. with a "what's wrong" question.
Good growing, as always.
Both are very Nice, Have Fun Rich
Thank you Angela. And it seems we have many plants in common lately. I have issues with Intermedia hybrids usually myself. I think it is because these are a plant that likes less water and more sun than most Cattleya. I was just looking them up again today to remind myself how to care for them.
I love Richard Mueller crosses, so you know which one is my fav![]()
Another shot of the flower once it has turned a golden yellow. And I love the spots as well. The tube like lip is one of the features I very much love about the Tequila Sunset flowers.

Connie , here is my Hippodamia, Its leaves are rather short for having B. nodosa as a cross.
It has never bloomed for me. I have it growing with my other Catt.
Why are the leaves spotted? do you think too much sun? watered and fertilized as my other catts.
Would love to have some comments from all of you.
Thanks
