Not one of those big, humongous 5+ inch vandas but a dainty little vanda of more modest proportions - just over 3 inch blooms. I bought the plant last year and since then it has rebloomed twice in my care.

Thats a great Vanda Yew. I'm surprised at the name, haven't seen one of these this color or shape ever. 99.9% are 'blue' with the general blue vanda shape. If you said this was an ascda I would think its one of the best around.
Yes Roy, the colour is quite unique and that's the reason I bought it last year from a vendor at our local orchid show. He had many vandas for sale but there was just this one. I got it a bargain with flowers for just RM 20 about Aus $6.50. If you look at Angel's post yesterday 'The Best of Philippine Flora at the Fair' you'll see 2 of these in his Vanda group photos.
Had a look around, quite possible this Ascda. Kulwadee Fragrance.
beautiful color I prefer the more modest vandas although i also have some big guys

Those are beautiful! Great job. The color of this one is very pretty.
Very beautiful, lovely colours.
That's lovely! One I would enjoy having myself -- if I had that kind of space available.![]()
