Orchid Man is right on the money! This plant looks fine and should do well in a new pot and media.
Don't try the moss with cattleyas. With my growing conditions, my catts like medium fir bark and lots of humidity and air movement. You can duplicate by putting the plant and its new potting media inside a plastic bag until roots appear.
BTW, assuming the name you have given from the plant tag is accurate, the correct name of the plant is Blc. Momilani Rainbow "The Gypsy" HCC/AOS. This is a very popular and beautiful splash-petal cattleya. Here is a photo of one! http://www.orchidphotos.org/images/o...02/IMG0034.jpg
Search Google images for this plant name. There are many good photos of it online!
Congrats and good growing!
