Masd Tiger Bay and another masd floribunda cross

Can't find the tag for this one. I know floribunda is one of the parents, just can't remember the other. A warm tolerant masdie that blooms pretty much constantly.



This one is a bit past its prime. The flower was more yellow but has faded a bit. This one is a fairly new addition -- got it back in March. Not as prolific as the aforementioned floribunda hybrid, but still the fact that it is blooming at all in my warm conditions is gratifying.

Love the stripes on the Masd Tiger Bay. Now that I have an Orchidarium, maybe I can actually grow some of these too.

To survive my apt, they have to be very warmth tolerant. Temps in my apt easily get into the low to mid 80s F in the summer. Haven't had Tiger Bay long enough to give it the heat tolerant stamp of approval, but the floribunda cross I posted is definitely warmth tolerant.

Oh man...love the spotty one, then saw stripes... These are another group I'm lucky don't do well with our heat. I have one that will bloom nice for me, the others haven't gotten the bloom or burn memo yet. lol

oooh the striped one is very nice. some of those masdes are very mesmerizing in photos. the striped ones especially! they look so alien.
