Just purchased this yesterday at big box store. They wanted $25.00. An employee saw me admiring it, and asked me what I would pay for it.
I told him $15.00. He than said,sold for $15.00..







That made my day.
Is this an oncidium Miltoniopsis?

Surprised he discounted it -- typically the ones around me won't do so until the flowers are dead and gone (and sometimes the plant has one foot in the grave). You got a nice bargain there.

That's a good looking orchid. I wish that one would show up mixed in with the Moth orchids at one of the supermarkets here.

It's not a Miltoniopsis. Probably a multi-mix with a name 40 characters long is my guess.

Its been around for many years Denny & just recognised it.
If you know what genus it is, a google search in images is a good place to start for primary ID. Further ID must be done as many images of certain plants that appear in Google are incorrectly named. ( by a mile )
