Nakamotoara Newberry Apricot
this little guy finally flowered for me. i thought i'd nearly lost it at one point, but it came back strong. it does have a light scent, in strong light. very sweet smelling. flowers are a little over an inch across. i have it growing outdoors on a shaded balcony, and it came through the winter quite well. oncidium lighting does fine for this one. it might be a vanda relative, but i don't think it needs vanda light levels. there is a second spike coming, but only 2 flowers on that one. i may have to get some more of these neofinetia hybrids. especially if they have scent!
