    Thanks, Angela.

That is what the tag says. Actually is says Blc. Michael's Charm '#24'. Pretty rare to get tags with these store bought ones. Sometimes there is a half a tag.

I told my wife yesterday that she has bought more orchids than I have. She brought another one home yesterday. It's an oncidium type that I like quite a bit. I'll probably order one or two or three or ten in the fall that I've had my eye on. It's too hot to have them shipped right now. It got to 103F today.

Another option is to check out orchid shows in your region. Then you not only get to gander at huge array of chids up-close and personal, but you also get to avoid shipping fees and can inspect the plants before buying them. (Also a great time to get supplies.)

I would love to go to an orchid show. I imagine the nearest would be Reno or SLC. However, it probably wouldn't be a good idea, since I'm struggling with space/light competition right now, and between my wife and I, I imagine we could easily double our collection in that environment. LOL.

There is a Phrag I have been eyeing for a year or so that I will get this fall, assuming it is still available. I think it will do well in my conditions, and it is just a stunning bloom. It would be my first Phrag, and it had better do well, since it is $300 and the most expensive orchid that I will have bought. There is no getting away from it though. I simply have to get it.
