(kolopakingii x 'Charles E.' FCC/AOS)
Some people say this isn't a windowsill orchid...to that I say it just depends on how big your windowsill is! LS about 3 feet with leaves nearly 3" wide (it gets much bigger if you grow it in a greenhouse). Only 4 flowers (2nd blooming), but will get 6 or more on fully mature, well-grown plants.
Slight spicy fragrance during the day, as like most other coryopedilums. No hint of the honeysuckle fragrance that kolopakingii is supposed to have.
If you really like compact plants, kolopakingii is a nice one to try. After speaking to the hybridizer, I found out that the kolopakingii used for this cross is currently sitting in a huge tub with a LS of 6+ feet! (per growth!)
