I went on vacation for a couple of weeks and had to put my vandas under the mango tree where they would get sprayed with reclaimed water daily. I heard reclaimed water was not good for orchids. I was afraid to come back home and find my little collection dead, but they survived and this vanda had a bloom spike.

Gorgeous! You are missing a letter in the middle word....it's Van. When you see JVB x it is a cross with yours as a parent. Lucky you to get such a nice plant. It is used in a ton of crosses. So pretty....

I have made a boo-boo here. V Mimi Palmer = V Tan Chay Yan x tessellata and not JVB x tessellata and V Tan Chay Yan = JVB x dearii. Sorry for the error.
