You are right, Zain. I thought only soft cane dendrobiums look good attached to trees. Well, the hard cane ones look very much at home on trees too. And they are quite healthy there.
Great collection!!
I think they are all super, pity you have no names, but we will enjoy the flowers with you,
Joe
wow,wow ,wow .you have a heaven over there.i can't see through your garden or your fence or what ever you attach them on.such a healthy plants.you inspire me again Angel
wow an outstanding collection, with each photo I thought I like that one best, until I got to the next, the green / gold is perhaps my favorite out of all, thanks for sharing
Thanks, Ed. I can see why you chose those two. And they would stand out in a sea of violet. Some others not included here are still putting forth buds. So more photos are coming!

Hi Kitty. I am happy that you draw inspiration from my dends. Most of my dends are mounted on ( not planted in) charcoal, bare-root. A number are attached directly on wood, while some still have the coconut husk around their roots, and then mounted on wood with the husk. And then there are those attached to trees, bare-root. Finally about 5 of them are planted in pots. In short, whatever and wherever is the available space, there is surely a dendrobium or some other orchid planted there.

Hi Joe. In my part of the country, and for most of the country actually, nobody seems to care much about names. Even the nurseries normally don't have names attached to the plants for sale. I'm not saying that it's good, but that's just the way it is over here. And when you begin using names, chances are the other orchid enthusiasts in your locale won't understand you anyway.![]()
