Only once a year. Any way it takes a year for a new growth(fan) to mature. I was thinking of growing this into a specimen plant with multiple leads but after seeing fungal rot in a few of my paphs, I have changed my mind and will divide and repot, to prevent losing my whole pot of this orchid.Btw 2 pots of my Paph liemianum are in bloom;, 2 concolor, a bellatulum and a wenshanense are spiking. First time my wenshanense is producing 2 buds on the same spike and I hope I will be able to see them open together.

Beautiful display. I also have one like this. I have brought it to bloom twice already. So far only 7 flowers in 2 spikes, as of its last bloom.

You must get one, Angel. Paph rothchildianum is the King, Paph sanderianum is the Queen and Paph philippinense is the Prince - they are the royalty of paphs. BTW mine is from Sabah.

About ten years ago, I bought one. A vendor belonging to one of our native inland tribes passed by my house. It had mottled leaves. At that time, I did not even know what it was exactly except that it was a terrestrial orchid. I planted it in the shadiest spot in my garden. Unfortunately, it did not prosper. It might have been one of the royalty you mentioned. However, now I understand that we do have many native paph species.

The 3 Royals I mentioned all have plain green leaves - no mottling. The one you had could be Paph barbatum or one of the Brachypetalum. A few years ago, it was quite easy to buy Paph philippinense but they are very difficut to obtain now.
