    Cool Vascostylis Southeast Pearl

I have to say I was so excited when this one spiked. I am even happier now that the flowers are opening. I needed to update the large Aranda so I included it in the last picture. The White Crane plant has been in bloom for awhile now and you can see how large the flowers are for such a compact plant. It's like a color explosion in the greenhouse...

Great form and colour on this semi-terete Vasco. On my wish list.

I find the smaller vanda hybrids are somewhat easier to bloom and grow. Unlike my monster vandas that require constant air movement, warmth, fertilizer, etc. The smaller hybrids tend to grow into wonderful bloomers with 2-4 bloomings on some of them a year. I highly recommend these little gems to everyone.

They're all beautiful! Those photographs are excellent. What camera and lens are you using?

I have a Nikon dslr 3100. I had a ton of points on a credit card and got it from the reward site online. lol It's a little heavy and somedays getting it to focus on what I want it to can be interesting...but it does take some nice pics. I've never taken a class, I learned by shooting my flowers and reading online photography websites tips. Usually for each plant I take around a dozen pictures, sometimes more. Being able to delete bad pics and keep only the good is such a huge help. Also, by zooming in I can see if the plant has tiny bugs. I take a ton of pics. lol
