    Cattleya purpurata var. estriata "Liao Hua Xiang"

    A estriata variety with a pronounced center streak on the petals and a moderate pronounced center streak on the sepals.
    Within the species C. purpurata it's the first time I see this special feature.
    Definitely a keeper and a parent for future generation of C. purpuratas.

    I promise, no more boring C. purpuratas this year!!!

    C. purpurata is like V. tricolor, very difficult to find a bad one. This is still well in the good ones area.
