Encylia plicata care

Received a E. plicata a couple of weeks ago. The plant has been put under artificial lights. I have read that the plant likes bright light and that it likes to be somewhat dry. The main leaf is already turning brown. Can any one help with the best way to care for this orchid?

Bright light, warm, water very heavily (soak the medium) whenever you see it is dry. I have mine in a slatted vanda basket of #5A (med/coarse) Orchiata bark, and it is watered every 2-3- days.

i have an encyclia bractascens mounted on driftwood that seems to be doing pretty well, soaking every morning, and misting once in the afternoon if i'm around
