    Wink My new, massive, paph Val Ablaze

    I went to my local orchid nursery today and cashed in my filled out 'frequent orchidist' card, value of $40.

    I came away with 2 orchids (well over $40 since this one was $60). This one and a Bllra Marfitch 'Howards Dream' and is in spike which I will post once they are open in a couple weeks.

    This one was so healthy and so massive I couldn't leave the greenhouse without it! It has 5 unbloomed growths and has one spike with 2 buds. I will post images of the open flower when it opens.

    Paph Val Ablaze's parentage is (Flame Freezing x Valred)

    A big complex, i love them! You will too! I noticed they like it a little wetter media and brighter light then other paphs
