Many times I have seen posts by folks who see a picture and say they can't believe it is the same plant that the poster has claimed, because the color is different. Well, many orchids do change color (darken or lighten) as they age, and of course different hybrids look different. Here, however, is an example of a Catt with two different colored blossoms on the same plant. This is standard for this plant, but if someone saw only new or only mature blossoms, they would not recognize the other.
These blooms are on the same plant at the same time. The yellow ones have been open about 3 weeks, the others about 5 days. Golden Glory
