Worried about Sedieria japonica and S/H

So. then here lies my dilemma. If it is a healthy plant in growing stage and it is not what I believe in blooming stage wouldn't this be the right time to transfer to S/H. My worry is that I know I would lose the healthy roots. In that case, the question I have is is S/H better in the long? Please continue with everyone's ideas>
