Pulled it out of the pot I had it in and roots look good but it was quite damp in there so I'm thinking that I should try the "drier" approach and have put it in a slatted basket. I've heard many people talk about theirs hanging up and so I've hung it up where it will also hopefully get more light as well... the only thing I can't control is the very wet and rainy weather we are having at the moment!
