The pic is not E.cordigera but a hybrid encyclia that may have cordigera in its breeding....and yes the white lipped with magenta spot is the typical form of E.cordigera...the confusing part is that it was called ''var randii'' and actually E.randii is a different species altogether that is found in a different range but has the overall same look and colour to the untrained eye...E randii has flatter sepals and petals and a larger size
