Nice job, Zain!!
I have this species, too. Mine plant (not alba) is in spike now. I will take a picture tomorrow.
I also have Aerides odorata alba; I bought two plants 5 years ago but they did not do well in my conditions. I gave one to Cathy (cdayinflorida). She is a great vandacious grower. I hope her plant is doing fine. My plant is not dead yet but close to it. I came to a conclusion that alba form is more difficult to grow.
All alba is said to be weak and difficult to grow. Also low fertility. Was afraid to buy an alba but did it anyways.
Wow!!! I cant wait mine to put out a spike. I have an aerides odorata and quinquevulnera.
Lovely plant with a nice scent.
Always did like the sheen on these blooms. AL
You are right in fact here I can see so many of them growing and dangling from small branches especially in primary forest I always unlucky every time I saw new colonies non of them in bloomed, that is relatively very cheap I think most probably he paid for the alba form, thank lijun.

Congrats lijun maybe your fact correct and maybe not, wait another few months look the progress basically it will grow for you dont be afraid take that one as a big challenge for you.
The actual definition of odor just means to smell strongly of. We just break it down to fragrant to be more specific of good odor or bad.
Thank you bang zain for encouragement, so far i dont see the difference, it seems alright and healthy. Maybe have to wait much longer. I also have a white d.purpureum. is that considered as alba too? Some say it is, some say its not. That one is strong plant. But i still like your d.parishii alba very much. Way better looking than the purple d.parishii. Havent got that.
Also sorry bout the friend. meant to ask name of vendor in indonesia who cheated your friend so i dont buy from them, but since we can't mention here,... ....
A very pretty Aer odorata.
