I think you could be right Jason. I just google for it and the flowers look identical. The plant has round pseudobulbs, much narrower on top with two leaves at the top of the bulb. From the centre of the bulb,emerges the spike. It was standing next to the Encyclias so I just assumed it was an Encyclia. It's not that it was sold to me as being an Encyclia. My fault. I'll label it as Epidendrum floribundum.

At a second thought, I don't think I can label it as Epidendrum. The plant doesn't look at all like the Epidendrum floribundum in IOSPE. The best will be contact the vendor and see what he says.
