Dear Orchid Forum,
I have recently just purchased an Orchid from my local supermarket as a present for my partner. I knew from the start that this was not the best way to have an orchid but I saw one I loved and just decided to go for it.
However, 3 weeks down the line now, I have developed some issues. Firstly, through reading through the forum board here it looks like some of the leaves got sunburnt. This is not a massive issue to me.
What I am having an issue with is that one of the leaves has kind of wrinkled up. Not majorly and there appears to be no noticable discolouration. I am wondering what I should do about this. Should I remove the leaf? Or is it actually ok and just looking a bit weird?
I have only watered it twice since I got it and although the roots above the surface are white, the subterrainian roots are a lovely vibrant green. I am trying not to move it and other than the one occasion I am careful to keep it out of direct sunlight.
Any advice on this please? Many thanks in advance.
